Learning Objectives:

Upon completion of this activity, participants will be able to:

  • Describe the benefits of physical activity for prevention/management, particularly for people with arthritis.
  • Describe the components of the Walk with Ease programs, how to receive training, and implement the programs.
  • Learn how to refer patients/clients to improve access and equity to physical activity programs that are modified and safe for different activity levels.

  • Refer and connect patients/clients to available tribal physical activity programs in New Mexico.
