New Mexico Diabetes Advisory Council

Working to reduce the burden of diabetes on communities in New Mexico.

Leadership

  • The New Mexico Diabetes Advisory Council (NMDAC) was formed in September 1993 with funding from the New Mexico Department of Health Diabetes Prevention & Control Program to address the serious issues facing New Mexicans with diabetes. The NMDAC Board was formed in September 2001 to act in an advisory** and leadership role.  In 2007, NMDAC became a 501(c)(3) charitable organization.
